Purchasing Assistant
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (45 hours per week)
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced and dynamic Purchasing team at our Burnham-on-Crouch headquarters.
As a key member of the department, you will play an important role in managing supplier performance and ensuring vendors meet agreed KPIs and delivery schedules. The role requires excellent attention to detail, particularly when reconciling supplier and buyer documentation to ensure smooth and efficient processing.
Your responsibilities may also include:
- Sourcing ad-hoc products to meet customer requirements.
- Identifying and developing new supply opportunities that could benefit the business.
- Negotiating competitive pricing on existing product lines.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, service, and supplier performance.
