Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri), with some paid overtime during busy periods

We're looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our passionate team, bringing our clients' visions to life with precision and artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft custom furniture pieces, predominantly from wood, including tables, desks, breakfast bars, and coffee tables.
- Machine raw timber using tools such as planers, thicknessers, and band saws.
- Perform various woodworking tasks including gluing, sanding, and oiling to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely, adhering to health and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects meet design specifications and deadlines.
- Occasionally provide on-site work for installations and client consultations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 1 year proven experience in cabinet making or a related field.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and tools (essential).
- Wide belt sander
- Table saw
- Mitre saw
- Band saw
- Planer
- Thicknesser
- A range of handtools
- Wood machining
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety requirements in a workshop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent eye for detail and the ability to rectify issues with a variety of woodworking techniques.
- Driving license preferred for occasional on-site work.
