Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and overall guest experience
- Support team management by mentoring staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring effective communication across departments
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Contribute to food production processes, including cooking and preparing menu items with attention to quality and presentation
- Monitor service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all customers
- Help coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels for smooth restaurant functioning
- Lead by example in hospitality practices, demonstrating leadership in food handling, customer service, and teamwork
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations with hands-on culinary experience
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance at all times
- Experience working in diverse environments such as hotels or bars is advantageous
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving techniques and hospitality best practices
- Previous barista experience or bar service knowledge is a plus but not required
