Castle is a friendly, family-run nursery with a separate preschool on a school-site. We have an excellent and long-established reputation in the community and received a judgement of 'Outstanding' at our latest Ofsted inspection at our Preschool and 'Good' at our nursery.
We are looking for a Room Leader who is already confident in leading a mentoring a team of 4-5 people and looking for more extra responsibility with running the setting. Castle also offers flexible working patterns over 3-5 days per week. We're looking for a kind, compassionate leader who can support our children through the magic of play and coach those within the team to plan and support high-level interactions.
Responsibilities
- Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or QTS and have at least 3 years’ experience leading a team and working with under 3 year olds.
- Have experience leading a team in planning or independently implementing an exciting and ambitious curriculum.
- Have proficient working knowledge of SEND in Early Years.
- Keen to get outside in all weathers and play on the floor with our youngest explorers!
