We are a family run Boarding Kennels located between Gloucester and Tewkesbury. We are looking for people to join our small close knit team on a job share basis.
Candidate requirements
Have a genuine love of dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have organisational, time management and observational skills.
Be able to multitask and be willing to follow instructions.
A driving licence is preferable as we are based in a rural location and not on a regular bus route.
Job description
Providing exercise and spending time with the animals to make their stay an enjoyable one.
Preparing and administering feeds and water.
Monitoring the health and well being of the animals in our care.
Cleaning kennels and animal areas.
Industry experience is not essential but is a bonus as on the job training is provided.
Kennel work is not glamorous. It is hard work, but highly rewarding when relationships are built with our visiting animals.
Shift and work schedule
Candidates should be willing to work both weekdays and weekends and work a combination of morning and afternoon shifts during the 7 day week. We run a shift pattern with morning and afternoon shifts, with no compromise on the set times.
Morning: 8.00am - 10.30am
Afternoon: 2.00pm - 6.00pm.
Wage
Minimum wage.
