We are currently looking to recruit part time Lifeguards to join our small friendly team for the evenings and weekends.
Applicants must be 16 years or over and have a valid NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification.
The successful candidate will be lifeguarding public swim sessions and running our Inflatable Pool Parties, along with various other cleaning tasks on poolside, pool water testing as well as being trained to lock up at the end of the evening.
This role is suited for someone who is bubbly, friendly, confident in talking to people, and good with children. Time management and good organisational skills are required.
This is a small team so a good history of work attendance is required.
Training will be provided for all areas, which will cover the basics of our software for selling refreshments, responsibilities when locking up the building at the EOD. Manning pool parties and inflatable fun sessions as well as basic pool testing both pools.
Weekends: Saturdays: Pool Parties & general duties between 12pm-4pm. Sundays: Between 09:30am - 2:30pm. Additional shifts are available weekdays in School Holidays.
The role is permanent and we are looking for candidates that wants to stay with us.

Shirley Pool is a purpose-built two-pool teaching centre, dedicated to making every swimming lesson productive and fun. We teach Parent & baby classes from 6 weeks old to Adults.
