Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, reputable independent garage in Nottinghamshire. Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their work and is looking to build a long-term career within a busy workshop environment.
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm

1-2 Saturdays per month, depending on business requirements and busy periods.
- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and skill set.
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.

Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and carrying out effective repairs.

Completing mechanical, electrical and routine maintenance work to a high standard.

Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying any additional repair requirements.

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and workshop standards.

Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation.

Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient turnaround times.
To be considered for this role, you will have:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).

Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a garage or workshop environment.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Good mechanical knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A full UK driving licence.
