As an Assistant Contract Manager at Hyde, you will support the effective delivery of planned, cyclical and specialist works programmes across our homes. Working closely with Contract Managers, Project Surveyors, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will help monitor performance, track progress, support inspections and ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to agreed standards.
Key Duties
- Support the delivery of planned investment, cyclical and specialist works programmes to agreed time, cost, quality and compliance standards.
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections, checking work quality, compliance and contractor reporting accuracy.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, quality standards and value-for-money requirements.
- Support contract administration, including invoice checks, valuations, evidence gathering and accurate record keeping.
- Engage with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders to support clear communication and smooth programme delivery.

As an Assistant Contract Manager we’re seeking someone who can bring:
- Proven experience in property maintenance, building surveying, housing repairs or asset management.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, using initative and organisational skills.
- A proactive mindset and passion for delivering safe homes, good customer outcomes and value for money.
- The ability to undertake site inspections, assess work quality and identify defects, risks or compliance issues.
- Ability to travel across the Hyde portfolio (Peterborough, Brighton, Chichester, London Bridge when required)
