We're looking for a professional to assist our team in creating and maintaining office documents, tracking contracts and handling day-to-day administrative items. We're seeking an individual who can handle multiple responsibilities with consummate skill, understands the importance of meticulous attention to detail, and is capable of working independently without direction. Job role summary
As the Admisitrator of Utilities and Fibre Networks, you will have the chance to learn every aspect of the business and grow as a person in a supportive environment. We are looking for a hard working communicator who will be able to keep up with the high work load and deal with any challenges that occur. This is a unique role that is teachable but any previous knowledge on the sector is an advantage.
Duties and responsibilities
-Liaising with local authorities
-Raising and managing permits using Street Manager
-Organising Traffic Management
-Updating Works Management Systems with relevant Streetworks information
-Job closure and accounts
-Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and teams
-Administrative duties
Required Skills/Abilities
-Good understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office.
-Team player - happy to assist colleagues and considerate of others.
Experience
-No specific experience in the industry itself is required but would be advantageous.
-Administrative and streetworks experience is preferred.
-The hours are 07.00 to 16.00.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
