What does the day of a Gardener look like?

To maintain the gardens, grounds, and external environments of the care home to a high standard.

To create and preserve safe, attractive, and welcoming outdoor spaces that enhance the wellbeing of residents, visitors, and staff.

To undertake gardening and grounds maintenance duties in a professional manner, ensuring that all external areas reflect the values and standards of Holmes Care Group.

To work independently and as part of the wider team, supporting the Estates Manager in maintaining the appearance and safety of the care home environments across Holmes Care portfolio.

To carry out duties in a person-centred manner, recognising the importance of outdoor spaces to residents' quality of life.
