The Role
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales & Buying Assistant to join our team in Shirley. This is a full-time, permanent position (45 hours per week), working 5 days between Monday and Saturday.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for both buying and selling pre-owned goods, delivering great customer service, and contributing to store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Buying and selling a wide range of products including:
- Mobile phones, laptops, and gaming consoles
- Jewellery and gold
- Bikes and other pre-owned goods
- Providing excellent customer service and building rapport
- Identifying customer needs through effective questioning and product knowledge
- Promoting and upselling products confidently
- Maintaining high store standards and presentation
- Supporting team targets and overall business growth
Full training will be provided, including buying procedures.

Skills & Experience (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of technology products such as smartphones, tablets, PCs, and gaming consoles
- Jewellery & precious metals experience or training is highly desirable, particularly in assessing gold, watches, or other valuable items
- Experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Familiarity with online selling platforms (advantageous but not essential)
