Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Seasonal Bar Staff to join our vibrant team during peak periods. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and refreshments efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar.
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as required, creating a welcoming environment.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of supplies needed for smooth operation.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience working in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism at all times.
