Full time Engineering Assistant required for busy biscuit bakery.
Great opportunity for person with real initiative to assist in machine set ups, machine maintenance , property maintenance and all else as required.
This requires someone who is ambitious, fit, utterly reliable, with good common sense and willing to learn.
Ideally, hands on mechanical or electrical experience would be preferred, however, training will be carried out on site. If you feel you have relevant experience in other fields that may be transferrable to this position please add to your covering letter.
5 day week with weekends free unless under exceptional circumstances.
Hours would be 6.30am until 4pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30am to 3.30pm Friday. Sometimes earlier starts will be required for Engineer holiday cover or line changeovers.
A driving licence and own transport is essential and you will be part of a small production team within a good working environment. Please note this position is in Callander (FK17) and close proximity to this location is preferred as potential out of hours work may be required at short notice.
