At Aster, safety comes first. We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Voids Surveyor to lead the delivery of Voids across Devon and Cornwall.

The Role
As our Voids Surveyor, you will:

Conduct thorough void property inspections and surveys
-
Ensure properties meet safety and compliance standards
-
Lead contractor and stakeholder engagement
-
Drive efficient and cost-effective surveying processes
-
Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction
You’ll work closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to support Aster’s commitment to providing great homes and outstanding services.
About You
You will bring to the role both technical excellence and strong leadership skills.
You'll have:

Significant experience in building surveying, property maintenance, major works or void management.
-
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building pathology and repair solutions.
-
Experience managing contractors and delivering performance against KPIs.
-
A thorough understanding of relevant housing, construction and health & safety legislation.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Experience producing technical reports, specifications and budget information.
-
A proactive approach to customer service and continuous improvement.
-
A commitment to creating a positive safety culture.
As you’ll be out and about in our communities you will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
