Permanent Assistant Service Manager
Woking, Guildford & Cranleigh
We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our person-centered services working across Woking, Guildford and Cranleigh where we support people with a learning disability.
You will support the Service Manager and ensure the continued smooth operation of these supported living services by undertaking a range of management tasks to support the team, and the people living there.

The role involves supporting the Service Manager by undertaking agreed management tasks across four supported living services:
- Promoting a team culture where the team are confident in being accountable and making decisions.
- Supporting the team to be compliant in their induction and training.
- Undertaking effective and agreed performance reviews for team members.
- Leading on the review and implementation of support planning, risk assessment and outcome-based support on the What Matters Most app.
- Contributing to and overseeing systems and records that support health and safety and maintenance of service environment as required.
- Contributing to the monitoring and completion of management reporting systems regarding safeguarding and quality assurance.
- Contributing to monitoring and completion of administration systems such as rota management and payroll data.
- Completing regular medication audits
- Completing regular finance checks
- Working closely with social workers, healthcare professionals, local authorities, families, and other agencies to coordinate support.
This line management role can involve occasional weekend or shift hours to ensure service compliance.
