Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their experience is welcoming and memorable. This role involves engaging with diverse guests, assisting with enquiries, and maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout their stay. Fluency in multiple languages and strong communication skills are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first impression
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the booking system
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area to reflect the high standards of the establishment
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to health, safety, and confidentiality
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse range of guests
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle enquiries professionally over the telephone
- Demonstrated guest services experience with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of hotel operations and customer service best practices is advantageous
