Role Overview
We are seeking professional, UK-based online tutors specializing in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The ideal candidate should be an expert in the UK curriculum, capable of providing "interlinked/bridged" (拉链式) knowledge structuring, mapping out core exam syllabus efficiently, and predicting high-probability exam trends (押题) for international students preparing to study in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Syllabus Structuring: Deliver comprehensive GCSE lessons across Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics, seamlessly connecting different topics and knowledge gaps.
- Exam-Oriented Teaching: Clear up complex exam points, teach effective exam techniques, and provide targeted mock practices based on predicted exam trends (押题).
- Progress Tracking: Provide high-quality formative feedback to both pupils and parents after lessons.
- Resource Design: Research, select, and design tailored teaching materials and past paper analyses.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Current undergraduates from top universities accepted). Graduates/students from G5 Universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, UCL) are highly preferred.
- Subject Expertise: Solid knowledge of the current UK KS3-KS4 (GCSE) National Curriculum frameworks for major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE).
- Teaching Experience: Proven track record of teaching GCSE Maths/Sciences to pupils. Must demonstrate the ability to help students achieve top grades (7-9).
- Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to explain complex scientific/mathematical theories in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS check (preferred/required before active teaching).
- Right to Work: UK residency is highly preferred due to the deep understanding of the local schooling system.
