Overview
We are seeking an experienced Drainage Maintenance Engineer to undertake planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, fault finding, inspection and remedial activities across below-ground drainage systems within a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance of drainage systems.
- Attend reactive and emergency drainage call-outs and clear blockages.
- Undertake CCTV drainage surveys and identify defects.
- Complete minor drainage repairs and remedial works.
- Inspect and maintain pumped drainage systems where required.
- Safely operate and maintain drainage plant and specialist equipment.
- Complete all required health & safety documentation, service reports and remedial recommendations.
Essential Experience
Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 2–3 years’ practical drainage maintenance experience, including experience with:
- Below-ground foul drainage.
- Surface water drainage.
- High-pressure water jetting.
- Drain blockage clearance.
- Manhole and inspection chamber maintenance.
- CCTV drainage inspection.
- Fault finding and drainage diagnostics.
- Reactive drainage maintenance.
- Working within occupied residential or commercial properties
Desirable Qualifications
- High-Pressure Water Jetting / Water Jetting Association training appropriate to the equipment being operated.
- CCTV Drain Surveying qualification/training.
- WJA Drain & Sewer Cleaning qualification.
- CSCS or equivalent construction competence card.
- Emergency First Aid at Work.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
