The Opportunity
MG GENONE DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED offers a structured entry route into financial markets and proprietary trading for Armed Forces service leavers. We recognise that military careers build discipline, resilience, risk awareness, accountability and the ability to make structured decisions under pressure — attributes directly transferable to professional trading.
This programme is open to Service Leavers and veterans; previous trading experience is helpful but not required.
Training and Funding
Candidates complete a structured training programme before progressing to a capital-allocation trading role. Eligible Service Leavers may be able to fund this training through their ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits) entitlement, subject to individual ELCAS eligibility and standard ELCAS terms — funding is arranged directly between the candidate and ELCAS/the registered training provider, not guaranteed by MG GENONE DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED.
The Role
Following training, successful candidates work within a structured financial markets environment, developing the ability to analyse markets, manage risk and implement disciplined trading strategies, including:
- Analysing global financial markets and economic developments
- Conducting technical and macroeconomic analysis
- Developing and implementing structured trading strategies within defined risk parameters
- Maintaining accurate trading and performance records
- Participating in regular performance and risk reviews
Employment Status and Remuneration
This is a self-employed, performance-based trading arrangement, not salaried employment. Candidates who pass the assessment process are allocated trading capital and remunerated via an agreed profit-share of trading performance — no base salary is paid. Full terms, risk parameters and capital allocation levels are confirmed in writing before any trading agreement is signed.
