We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Inclusion Support Practitioners to join our well established Inclusion Team working either in Early Years or Key Stage 2. The successful candidates will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, using a Thrive approach and trauma-informed practice. You will deliver targeted interventions, support emotional regulation, and work closely with families and external professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs in accessing the curriculum
- Understand and respond to childrens individual needs
- Promote communication, engagement, and independence under teacher guidance
- Regulate behaviour positively using agreed strategies
- Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about inclusion and supporting vulnerable pupils
- Has experience (or a strong interest) in SEMH and Emotional regulation
- Can build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Is committed to ongoing training and professional development
- Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
