We are seeking a reliable and skilled Days Counterbalance Drivers to join clients team based in Calverton, Nottingham. This role requires excellent communication skills and a Counterbalance FLT licence along with experience working within a plant environment.
Requirements:
- Always wear the correct PPE.
- Always maintain the plant and its operation.
- Always keep the plant in a clean and tidy condition.
- Operating the FLT with clamps
- Load and unload lorries as required using equipment provided
- Complete all relevant paperwork concerning loads in/out ensuring photographs of the loads are taken and passed to the Commercial Assistant or Commercial Manager daily.
- Re-bag by products to reduce the number of smaller bags on site if asked to do so.
- Ensure any by product bags from the production area are stored in the correct place to await disposal or out loading.
- Load or assist in the loading of reject material onto walking floors for transport away from the site as an when required.
- Report any damage or defects as soon as possible to Plant Team Leader
- Reading and understanding all Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work appropriate to the task being undertaken.
Must Have:
- Previous experience as a Counterbalance FLT driver (Ideally clamps)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
- Experience working in a yard/plant environment is beneficial.
- An RTITB licence or equivalent is required.
Shifts:
- 4 on 4 off - Days 06:00am - 18:000pm
