Make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.
Parkwood Care is looking for enthusiastic and caring Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.
We are an established, genuinely child-centred organisation with a clear model for staff development and career progression. This is an opportunity to join something vibrant, help shape our services and make a lasting difference to the young people we care for.
The role
You will provide day-to-day care and support within a three-bed children’s home for young people aged 7–17 who experience social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

- Planning activities and creating positive experiences
- Helping young people develop confidence and independence
- Supporting education, health and emotional wellbeing

- Working closely with families and other professionals
Our care model focuses on helping young people return closer to their home area whenever possible. Each young person has a clear transition plan, whether that means returning to their birth family, moving into foster care or progressing towards independent living.
We are passionate about supporting young people into adulthood alongside adults they already know and trust. We place great importance on continuity of care and relationships that reflect positive family life.
