South Manchester Holiday Club is seeking enthusiastic sports coaches to join our team for the summer holidays at Southern Cross School, Northenden.
Our activity programme runs Monday to Friday throughout August 2026 (3rd–28th August), delivering fun, structured sessions for children aged 5–11. The programme is part-funded through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme and includes themed daily activities such as sports, cycling, Lego & STEM, craft and Mini Olympics days.
We are based at Southern Cross School, Roundwood Road, Northenden, with full use of modern indoor and outdoor facilities including a sports hall.
We are looking for coaches who are genuinely passionate about working with young people, people who bring energy, creativity and professionalism to every session.
Hours: 09:00–16:30 daily, with early drop off cover available from 08:00 for the right candidates.
Requirements:
- Valid DBS certificate (within the last 3 years)
- Sports coaching, teaching or playwork qualification
- Up to date safeguarding certificate
- First aid qualification (desirable)
Payment is made weekly every Friday in arears following receipt of an invoice.
