Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Front of House team member to provide exceptional administrative support and customer service. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling correspondence, and ensuring smooth daily office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate a welcoming attitude to clients and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
- Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable
- Maintain organised records and files both digitally and physically
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Support team members with various clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations
- Respond promptly to email correspondence and client inquiries
- Maintain a tidy reception area to create a welcoming environment
Skills
- Previous office experience or administrative background is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Attention to detail in managing records and correspondence
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
