Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role located in Stansted airport.The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. Daily responsibilities include controlling access points, , reporting safety concerns, and adhering to company protocols. The Security Officer will interact professionally with employees, customers, and visitors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Officers will be required to operate a manual barrier for vehicle access and egress.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in usage of access control systems.
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and the public.
- Capability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Previous experience in security roles or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- A valid SIA license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the site location.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Starting pay is £12.71ph
