Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in our Residents rooms and in the shared areas around the home. The Housekeeping Assistant position is vital for ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning Tasks: Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in Resident's rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
- Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds, change linens, and ensure that all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Safety and Hygiene Standards: Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any requests or concerns as needed.
Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are cleaned to high standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not always required.
- Reliability: Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential for maintaining cleanliness and order.
5 days a week - 20 hours
