The Music Shed Tuition LTD is a family run music school, offering high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Drum Teacher to join our team of freelance tutors.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Drum Teacher to provide one-to-one drum lessons to students in Eccles and also cover drum lessons on other days in the week as needed. As a freelance Drum Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, setting achievable goals, and helping students to develop their drumming skills.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one drum lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
* Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
* Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and The Music Shed Tuition LTD team
Requirements:
* 1 year of experience as a drum teacher or similar role
* Grade 6 or above in Drums or equivalent qualification
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as a freelancer
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications:
* Music degree or diploma in Music Performance or Education
* ABRSM, LCM, or equivalent drum teaching qualifications
* Experience of teaching students with varying abilities and learning styles
