We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Forest School Room Leader to join our team at Abeona Day Nursery. If you love the outdoors, have a strong understanding of child-led learning, and want to create magical experiences in nature, we’d love to hear from you!
Hours ideally would be Monday - Friday 9am -3pm
About the Role:
As our Forest School Room Leader, you will:
Lead engaging and creative outdoor learning sessions based on the Forest School ethos.
Plan and implement nature-based activities that support children’s development.
Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and take risks.
Observe, assess, and document children’s progress.
Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support.
Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s learning journeys.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 3+ Forest School Leader qualification (or working towards it).
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
Experience working in an early years/primary education setting.
A love for the outdoors in all weathers!
A creative and child-centred approach to learning.
A strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
