Elliott's Upper Crust Catering Services LTD are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work in their busy production kitchen based on Canvey Island.
Duties will include picking & packing, working on the production line filling baguettes, rolls and preparing food to be used throughout the day in our pastas, salads, wraps, sandwiches etc. You will be working to a strict deadline so must be able to cope under pressure and be reliable.
We are looking for someone with a background in the food industry. This is a great opportunity to work amongst a vibrant, busy team making fresh produce to feed our customers across the county.
Candidates must be/have:
- A 'can do' attitude and ability to cope under pressure (it's a fast paced environment working to deadlines).
- Attention to detail.
- Capable of heavy lifting.
- Variety of catering skills.
- Excellent time management skills & attendance.
- Previous experience is essential.
Hours:
MON- FRI 06:00-15:00
no weekends or bank holidays
Hourly Rate: £13.25

- We are looking for someone with experience in the catering industry, please confirm you have atleast 2 years experience.
- Please confirm that you are able to take on heavy lifting duties.
- Your skills will need to extend beyond the kitchen and when needed cover the storeroom, counting and sorting bottled drinks, crisps and confectionery.
