Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/General Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry, fabrication, and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install custom woodwork and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct carpentry and joinery tasks, including framing, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork
- Perform roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
- Assist with plumbing and masonry work as needed for building upkeep and improvements
- Carry out construction painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation to enhance facility appearance
- Support heavy lifting activities safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and execute repairs promptly
- Collaborate with team members on various projects requiring electrical experience or other specialized skills
Skills
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, and masonry techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and construction machinery
- Experience with plumbing systems and electrical work is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of construction painting methods and surface finishing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors

Pay: £26,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
