Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/General Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry, fabrication, and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of structures, carry out repairs, and support various construction projects. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install custom woodwork and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct carpentry and joinery tasks, including framing, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork
- Perform roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
- Assist with plumbing and masonry work as needed for building upkeep and improvements
- Carry out construction painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation to enhance facility appearance
- Support heavy lifting activities safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and execute repairs promptly
- Collaborate with team members on various projects requiring electrical experience or other specialized skills
Skills
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, and masonry techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and construction machinery
- Experience with plumbing systems and electrical work is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of construction painting methods and surface finishing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors

Pay: £26,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
