Greenways Primary Academy is a high attaining, single form entry school where we believe every child should have a positive and enjoyable primary school experience. From Nusery to year 6, we aim to ensure all pupils fulfil their true potential and are ready for their next stage in education.
The successful candidate will support the Greenways team to supervise and support pupils during lunchtime both in the dinner centre and on the playground. We are seeking someone who can engage well with all ages of children, promote and set up outdoor play time activities and keep all children safe through following policies and procedures.

Main duties and responsibilities
Core Duties and responsibilities:
1. Supervising activities and maintaining health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils during midday break, having regard to special or additional needs.
2. Reporting incidents in line with academy policy
3. Assisting in the supervision of other activities during the midday break, including setting out and storing equipment
4. Encouraging pupils to select and eat healthy balanced meals
5. Cleaning up spillages of food or liquid during meal service
6. Wiping down tables and clean dining areas between meals
7. Undertaking similar work at other times, such as before and after school
8. Any other duties appropriate to the post.

The post holder is required to be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
The post holder has a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults during the course of their work. This post requires the post holder to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
