Swimming Teacher – Plymouth Life Centre/Plympton Swimming Pool
Location: Plymouth Life Centre/Plympton Swimming Pool
Hours: Part‑time / Flexible (including evenings and weekends)
Plymouth Active Leisure is looking for a motivated and passionate Swimming Teachers to join our team at the Plymouth Life Centre and Plympton Swimming Pool. We are committed to delivering high quality swimming lessons that inspire confidence, safety, and enjoyment in the water. We provide lessons for all ages and abilities following the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons in line with Swim England standards.
- Support swimmers of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to maintain high standards.
Requirements
- Swim England Level 2 Teaching qualification (or equivalent).
- A passion for teaching and inspiring confidence in the water.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
