Role Purpose
This is a hands on warehouse role at the heart of Coffee King’s operations. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock across our wholesale, retail and direct channels - keeping our warehouse organised, efficient and safe while ensuring every order leaves to the standard our customers expect.

This role sits where operations and brand meet, and the person doing it shapes how Coffee King is experienced by thousands of customers each year.
This is a varied, hands on role at the heart of a fast growing business with genuine scope to develop into wider warehouse, logistics and commercial responsibility as you settle in and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
Order processing & Dispatch
· Pick stock accurately against orders, verifying SKUs, quantities and condition.
· Pack all outbound orders to a Coffee King standard - neat, protective and considered.
· Allocate orders to the correct courier or delivery method based on weight, destination and service level.
· Generate shipping labels, manifest dispatches and resolve courier queries as they arise.
· Process orders accurately and on time across wholesale, B2B and direct channels.
Inbound & Outbound Stock
· Support the receipt and put away of inbound deliveries, checking quantities and condition against purchase orders.
· Maintain accurate stock in the correct locations and flag discrepancies promptly.
· Assist with periodic stock counts and cycle counts as required.
· Unload vehicles and store raw materials, finished goods and packaging in the correct locations.
· Organise storage areas to keep raw materials, finished goods and packaging clearly separated and accessible.
· Load vehicles safely and deliver goods to Coffee King stores and B2B customers using company vehicles.
· Undertake material handling duties including unloading, moving and positioning stock as required.
Packaging & kitting — with commercial awareness
· Prepare packaging and kitting materials to order requirements, monitoring stock levels and flagging low items for reorder.
· Understand the unit cost of packaging materials and apply that understanding on the bench - right box for the job, no over packing, no waste.
· Build and maintain product bundles and kits, keeping component stock and finished kits aligned.
· Contribute to packaging decisions - flag where we are over spending and suggest improvements.
Warehouse Standards
· Keep the warehouse tidy, organised and safe at all times - pick zones logical, aisles clear, returns processed promptly.
· Uphold Health & Safety and food safety standards at all times and report any concerns immediately.
· Operate equipment safely and report any maintenance issues without delay.
· Undertake any other operational duties required to support the smooth running and growth of the business.
Cross-functional
- Work closely with the eCommerce team, customer service , Store operation team and wholesale teams to flag stock issues, fulfilment risks, or process improvements.
- Contribute ideas to improve packing efficiency, reduce damages, and lift the unboxing experience.
- Deliver goods to our stores and customers using the company van when required.
Key Requirements:
- Clean Driving Licence
- Fork Lift Truck Licence — RTITB Approved
- A keen eye for customer experience — every order leaving our warehouse is a Coffee King brand impression, and you treat it that way. Neat, presentable, considered.
- Attention to detail — accurate picks, accurate paperwork, packaging that looks the part. Mistakes bother you.
- Commercial acumen — you understand that packaging and kitting materials cost money, and you make smart, cost-aware choices on the bench. You can spot waste and suggest better.
- Reliable and consistent — the team and our customers can count on you. You turn up, you deliver, you communicate.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
