Duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to handle parts and equipment during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Follow detailed procedures for equipment repair and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair and maintenance processes
- Proficiency reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and hydraulics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during diagnostics and repairs
- Prior experience in equipment repair or maintenance is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
