3.5T / 7.5T Multi-Drop Driver
Location: Botley, Southampton SO30
Salary: 31,000 – 33,000
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking 3.5T / 7.5T Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering building materials and related products to construction sites, builders' merchants, and commercial customers across the region. The role will be predominantly driving one of our 3.5T vans and covering holidays for our current 7.5t drivers
This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily deliveries to building and construction sites.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Follow a pre-planned delivery route
- Communicate professionally with site managers, customers, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid UK driving licence.
- 3.5T and 7.5T driving experience.
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering building materials.
- Knowledge of construction and building site practices.
