Our client, a successful, highly regarded family-run civil engineering and utility contractor seeks to hire a Customer Support Administrator / Planning Co-ordinator to play a key part in coordinating repair schedules, supporting operational teams, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a small, friendly Planning team, responsible for booking and scheduling all customer appointments to investigate and repair water leaks on customer supply pipes. You’ll be based at a beautiful rural site in near, Oxford, working closely with customers, field operatives, and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.
Your key responsibilities:
· Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
· Scheduling and coordinating investigation and repair appointments
· Raising and updating jobs on the database
· Managing emails and written correspondence
· Supporting the wider planning team with day-to-day coordination
· Gatekeeping and ensuring smooth workflow
About You
· You’re someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused role and takes pride in doing things well.
· Strong communication and stakeholder skills
· Planning/scheduling experience (ideally within water/utilities, but not essential)
· An organised, calm, and solution-focused approach
· Confidence using planning or scheduling systems
· Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace)
· Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail
· Most importantly, you’re a team player who’s flexible, proactive, and positive.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
