Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. - Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise operational efficiency.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team atmosphere.
- Ensure excellent customer service by coordinating with front-of-house staff during service hours.
- Conduct regular training sessions on food safety, cooking techniques, and service standards to enhance team skills.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and implement improvements where necessary.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across diverse cuisines.
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in hospitality settings involving serving customers directly or indirectly.
- Experience in menu development and culinary innovation is advantageous.
