We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer to improve business productivity and efficiency by developing, configuring, installing, upgrading, supporting and maintaining IT systems and solutions. Main Responsibilities:
· Analyse and specify group system requirements, liaising with all departments and all levels.
· Develop new systems software based on group requirements.
· Leading software development projects when required.
· Maintain presentation, performance, and quality standards of all systems.
· Performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.
· Designing, updating, and maintaining software databases.
· Support existing software through its entire life cycle.
· Maintain group IT servers.
· Maintain group client devices, e.g., PCs, laptops, phones, printers etc.
· Maintain group connectivity, including internet connection, inter- company links etc.
· Work closely with end users of IT systems to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
· Communicate effectively with external suppliers and customers and internal managers and employees.
· Liaise with direct line manager, as well as Senior Management Team (SMT) and Group Directors on System plans / progress.
· Maintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the system.
Skills and Experience Required:
· 5+ years of software development experience
· Experience using C#
· Experience using NET/SQL
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm with one hour for lunch.
Friday 8.30 – 4.30pm with one hour for lunch.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
