Job Summary
Airborne Gymnastics Club is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3, 4 Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team in the Shropshire area. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive club environment, helping gymnasts develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport.
About the role
As a Gymnastics Coach at Airborne Gymnastics Club, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions to gymnasts of varying ages and abilities. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where gymnasts can progress and thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics sessions in line with British Gymnastics guidelines.
- Coach gymnasts of different ages and abilities, supporting their development and progression.
- Ensure all sessions are delivered in a safe and professional manner.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to gymnasts.
- Work collaboratively with the coaching team and communicate effectively with parents and guardians where required.
- Assist with club events, competitions, and other activities as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum British Gymnastics Level 2 Coaching Qualification (Level 3, 4 preferred).
- Current DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding certification.
- First aid qualification is desirable.
- Previous coaching experience in a gymnastics club environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and passion for helping gymnasts achieve their potential.
