The Role
We are looking for a skilled Bed Upholsterer to join our team in Yorkshire.
This is a hands-on role focused on upholstering high-quality bed frames and headboards to a premium standard. You will be responsible for ensuring every product is finished with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities Upholstery Work
- Upholster bed frames, headboards, and panels using a range of fabrics (e.g. bouclé, velvet, linen)
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately
- Apply foam, padding, and finishing layers
- Ensure clean lines, symmetry, and a high-end finish
Quality & Finishing
- Inspect all work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain consistency across all products
- Identify and resolve any faults or imperfections
Production Support
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Assist with general workshop duties where required
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience in upholstery (beds, sofas, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials
- Good understanding of upholstery tools and techniques
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with high-end or luxury furniture
- Basic carpentry or frame assembly knowledge
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
