Duties
- Greet guests warmly and promptly, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure order accuracy
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; a passion for guest service is essential
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing, tips, and transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
