Salary: £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our HR team at our Cardiff Head Office.
We’re a rapidly expanding, fast-paced business, and this is a varied role where no two days are likely to be the same. You’ll work closely with our HR Manager and HR Advisor, providing essential administrative support across the full range of day-to-day HR activity.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid HR administration experience who is highly organised, confident dealing with people and comfortable managing multiple priorities at the same time.
Preparing contracts, offer letters and other HR correspondence
Managing new starter, employee change and leaver administration
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Supporting absence, holiday and other employee administration
Arranging disciplinary, grievance, investigation and other HR meetings
Attending HR meetings and taking clear, accurate and comprehensive notes
Preparing documentation to support employee relations processes
Responding to HR queries from managers and colleagues
Processing employee changes accurately and within required deadlines
Supporting right-to-work and other compliance processes
Producing reports and maintaining accurate HR data
Helping the HR Manager and HR Advisor with the day-to-day organisation of a busy HR function
We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ experience in a similar HR administration role.
You’ll need:
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent note-taking skills, with the ability to accurately capture detailed conversations during HR meetings
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating with managers and colleagues at all levels
The ability to work effectively in a busy and rapidly changing environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
A professional and discreet approach when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
The ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a small HR team
Experience of supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence or other employee relations processes would be particularly useful.
A CIPD qualification would be welcome, but practical HR experience and the right organisational skills are more important to us.
