Job Overview
We have a full time oppotunity for a time served Electrician to join our team based in Airdrie & working in and around the Central belt. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites & also some residential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality work that will keep our operations running smoothly. A strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork will be essential as you contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose faults accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings & Industrial estates.
- Ensure all work complies with the (NiCEiC) standards.
- Conduct inspections & carry out testing.
- Follow job card instructions
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a good understanding of electrical systems.
- Reading drawings & schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
- Ability to operate testing equipment and other diagnostic tools for fault finding.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety.
- Strong understanding of electrical experience including wiring methods, conduit bending, Fuse box replacements and earthing.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members & talking to our clients on sites.
- Electrical Inspection & Testing to current wiring regulations (2391 & 18th Edition 3)

Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour
