Job Overview
Join our team as a Toilet Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all visitors at Made in Manchester Festival Stockport 2026 On the 29th & 30th of August. This energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of restroom facilities, providing excellent customer service, and upholding high standards of sanitation throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of restroom areas, including sinks, toilets, floors, and fixtures to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap dispensers, and other essentials to maintain continuous availability.
- Monitor restroom conditions frequently to identify any maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Greet visitors courteously and offer assistance if needed, fostering a friendly and professional environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by following proper cleaning procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to uphold the overall cleanliness standards of the facility.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on restroom maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies throughout your shift.
- Excellent communication skills to interact politely with visitors and team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to sanitation practices.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining consistent service quality.
