Salary: £15.65 per hour + £3,000 welcome bonus
Hourly Rate: £15.65 per hour + an additional £5.00 per hour where applicable
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 160 hours per month

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established three-bed children's home supporting young people aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The home provides a safe, structured and nurturing environment where children are supported to overcome adversity, build resilience, and achieve positive long-term outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to children and young people.
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the home, lead and develop the staff team, ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, and promote a culture of high-quality, child-centred care.
You will be confident supporting staff, managing challenging situations, leading shifts, and ensuring every young person receives consistent, therapeutic support tailored to their individual needs.

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
You only hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (this is not considered equivalent).
You require sponsorship or are currently on a visa requiring sponsorship.
You have only worked within Healthcare, NHS, CQC-regulated services or Nurseries.
Individuals with only CQC experience and/or who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
