Due to new investments in machinery, a vacancy for an experienced Print Finisher to work a double day shift pattern (6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm) with overtime at peak times has become available.
We are looking to recruit an all rounder print finisher to work alongside operators on Heidelberg Folders, Stitcher, Binder, Guillotines and other ancillary finishing equipment. The role requires; quality conscious individuals who are able to work in fast pace environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
> All aspects of print finishing from set up to running, maintaining all finishing equipment, working to HSE guidelines and general housekeeping.
> Produce finished goods in line with quality control procedures
> Follow work instructions and finish every job within the correct timescales to a high standard
> To liaise with supervisors to ensure work is completed as required
> Ensure finished jobs are packed/labelled securely and ready for despatch
Required Skills
> Previous experience in a print finishing role is required
> Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
> Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
> Self motivated and able to work as part of a team or use own initiative
> Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery
