We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths and Physics tutor to inspire students across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level. Our freelance tutors uphold the highest standard and success rates of students studying for their secondary school qualifications, providing a tailored tuition with proven results.
The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or young learners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years tuition experience, with proven results and student testimonials.

Tutors can earn up to a maximum of £70 per hour*
Duties
- Deliver dynamic and tailored tutoring sessions in Maths and Physics for students at KS3, GCSE, and A-Level levels.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and curiosity.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those with special educational needs.
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and areas for development.
- Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas requiring additional focus.
- To provide homework for students, with feedback and monitoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and Physics at secondary school or higher education levels, with proven results.
- Strong knowledge of KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Maths and Physics curricula.
- Experience working with children or young learners in educational settings.
- Familiarity with special education needs (SEN) and strategies for inclusive teaching.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Ability to motivate students, build confidence, and adapt lessons based on individual learning styles.
- Reliable, organized, and committed to supporting students’ academic success.
- A minimum of 2 years tuition experience.
* rate of hourly pay can be altered within a range, based on the tutors experience and qualifications. For example, an experienced tutor, but non qualified teacher, can change their rate of pay up a maximum of £55 per hour. Qualified teachers can earn up to a maximum of £70 per hour.
Pay: Up to £70.00 per hour
