This is a great opportunity for support workers in Norwich to join a well-established company. Full UK driving licence is essential.
These positions are available to work as part of a team in our clients home. Support workers ideally have spinal injury experience and ability to manage complex care needs but not crucial as full training will be given. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week and full time hours are available. Hours of work are 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am.
Responsibilities to include:
- Personal care
- Domestic duties around the home
- Support with social activities
- Medication Administration
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilation Care
The ideal candidate will have:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with the ability to build a good rapport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexibility to provide cover when needed
- Ideally previous experience in a similar role providing complex care due to a spinal cord injury
- Good sense of humour
