Duties
- Deliver personalized care and support tailored to each child's individual needs, following detailed care plans.
- Engage children in therapeutic activities designed to promote social skills, emotional regulation, and confidence.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, hygiene, and recreational activities to ensure consistency and comfort.
- Support children during outings or appointments by driving safely and adhering to all transportation protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, incidents, and care activities using IT systems efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support strategies.
- Contribute to creating a positive environment that encourages open communication, trust, and growth.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or therapeutic setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
- Valid driving license with experience driving children or vulnerable individuals preferred.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of child development principles and safeguarding procedures is advantageous.

Pay: £29,942.00-£34,944.00 per year
