Job Title: Experienced Plant Operator
Location: Farnham
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description:
Down To Earth is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our growing team specializing in land reclamation, earthworks, and quarrying. This long-term role will involve the operation of various plant machinery across our Surrey and Sussex sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate earthmoving equipment, including 360/Excavators and Dozers
- Utilize GPS systems for accurate trimming to level
- Follow site instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain safety standards and practices in all tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS competency card for plant operation
- Minimum 2 years of experience with GPS systems
- Ability to follow and, where applicable, give instructions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
- Team-oriented attitude and positive communication skills
